80's
I had a nice weekend.
Some girlfriends had an 80's party on Friday night. That was a lot of fun to dress for. We all really got a kick out of seeing each other dressed up. We decided that we are going to have to always have themed parties...they are just too much fun!
I gave Reese a bath in the big bathtub finally for the first time this weekend. She was in the middle of Hunter and Shelby....the best big brother and sister in the world. They helped her sit up the whole time and she loved it! She loved playing with her bath toys in the big bathtub. I took some pictures of that but I haven't downloaded them yet. I will soon.
I went running with Ariana and Reese this afternoon after the kids went back to their dad's. We had a nice run but could have done without losing the key, right Ariana???
I have a big week this week. I will be a chaperone on Wednesdays with the 1st graders. We are going to downtown Knoxville. They are studying communities right now. That will be fun. Then, on Friday I will help with Hunter's Fall class party. Then..of course, trick or treating on Friday evening after they have trick or treated at their dad's. They are going to be getting double the candy this year!! Lucky kids. I think I will steal some Reese's Cups. My favorite! Have a good week!

Cardinals Baseball
My little Shelby and Hunter had their last baseball game tonight. They were both on the same team this fall and I have really enjoyed watching them play. I have been the dugout mom and that has been a very interesting job to say the least! I had a blast, though. I am proud of my kids and all they did this season. Bobby was supposed to just be an assistant coach but somehow got suckered into being the head coach. He did a great job and all of the kids and parents really liked him. I love him for coaching my kids this fall. I know it took a lot of his personal time, but he did it anyway. He is a great coach. I hope he continues to do it! Enjoy some pictures of my Number Five and my Number One!!!
Mom's surgery
Bobby and I took little Reese to Birmingham this weekend to visit mom. She had knee replacement surgery a week ago today. She has been in a lot of pain and I hope that she finds some relief really soon. She is in better spirits today after having a visit from her PT at her home. I think she likes him a lot and he helped her a lot too. I was glad to help cook some meals for her and to let Reesey cheer her up a little. Reese loved giving her little baby boy cousin (still in Ash's belly) hugs and kissess...as you can see in one of these pictures. She can't wait to play with her cousin....hurry up and get here little boy!

Costumes
We had family portraits made today with my friend Christy. Visit her blog at bonifaciophotography. typepad.com
She is so talented and I can't wait to see how they turn out.
After pictures we went to a Halloween store to get costumes! Remind me NEVER to take Shelby in one of those stores ever again. She screamed in there and had a panic attack. I am not kidding either. She is So very afraid of Halloween stuff. Everyone in the store looked at us like we were crazy. I took her over to the baby costumes and that calmed her down a little bit. When we had to leave, the same screaming, crying attacks came again. Whew...it was rough.
But....we did manage to get costumes for the kids. Hunter is a Ninja..after I convinced him not to get the penguin costume! Shelby is Supergirl. It fits her personality perfectly. Brooke is a witch. She want to have a green face too on Halloween. The kids came home and put their costumes on to show their neighborhood friends. They looked so cute! Bobby is on evening shift this evening so we are hanging out and enjoying the cool weather. Enjoy the pictures!
Fall is Hear!
It feels so wonderful outside now that Fall is hear. Here are a few decorations on our front porch. We got this scary witch at Walgreens. She talks and pulls her head off of her body! Hunter LOVES this witch and Shelby is deathly afraid of her. For such a tough little girl, she is so scared of some things. The kids put the spider web on the bricks and placed plastic spiders all over it. Bobby put our pretty yellow mums out and we also have little pumpkins...one that represents each kid that lives hear. Don't you love how Reesey is sitting up so well on the front steps. She is 6 months old now and changing everyday!

Fireproof
Fireproof was an excellent movie and I highly recommend it for any married couple. It is wonderful. This past Thursday night Bobby and I attended the red carpet premire of the movie. It was honoring all first responders. They all came in uniform and we got to dress up. It was nice. We met Bobby's longtime friend, and firefighter, Richard and his wife. We had a nice time. Saturday was another story. Reese gave us both a stomach virus and we were pitiful ALL DAY long on Saturday. I am glad the kids were at their dad's this weekend b/c I didn't want them to get sick too. Plus, I couldn't have taken care of them too! Reesey is so good and she understood that her mom and dad were really sick. I was more sick the first part of the day and Bobby took care of Reese more then. The second half of the day Bobby was more sick so I took over for Reese. I went to bed at 8:30 that night and sleep until 8:30 in the morning. That hasn't happened in a long time. We are finally over it now. We went to church this morning and then to Chili's. It is becoming a normal Sunday lunch routine. We were kind of scared to eat anything but so far so good!
Reese is just about all the way sitting up now. She will be 6 months old on Tuesday. I cannot believe it. Look how well she is sitting!! I am so proud of my baby girl.

The Game
Well..the game was awful, but the trip up to it was fun. Bobby and I went on one of our friend's parent's yacht and rode down to the UT game this past Saturday. They had Moe's food catered. We had a nice time and their boat was beautiful! The game, on the other hand, was not. Enjoy a few of these pictures to see us before the game.
I am so excited to find out if I am having a neice or a nephew this week!! Yeah, Ash!

Shelby's school
Recently Shelby and Reese's school had a grandparent's day tea. Since little Shelb doesn't have any grandparents here, I stepped in for them.
Here are a couple of pictures of Shelby being a mess with her brownie and showing off her preschool room. She really loves her school and is such a good little preschool student. She even says the Pledge of Alliegence every day. So cute!
Nice Weekend with my Reesey
This weekend has been relaxing. Hunter and Shelby are at their dad's house so I got some much needed cleaning done. I also had lots of time to play with my Reesey. She is changing so much. She loves to talk and she has the sweetest personality. She is such a calm baby and I am very lucky!!! She is getting really close to sitting up. She is 5 1/2 months now. When she is on the floor playing she immediately rolls over to her belly. She is starting to sleep that way in her crib too.
I have a couple of pictures from Hunter and Shelby playing baseball last weekend. I don't have many yet because I am the mom in the dugout making sure the kids get out on the field when they need to. It is a hectic job!
You will also see pictures of Hunter and Shelby's gold and silver teeth that Gaggy gave them. They are so funny when they wear them.
Well, Bobby just went to work for night shift so it is me and my little baby girl tonight. Maybe I will let her snuggle with me in the bed like we did last night. It is a speical treat for little Reese to sleep in Mommy's bed. I am so tired tonight from the hilliest run ever that Shawna took us on this morning. Jogging stroller and all!
