80's

I had a nice weekend.
Some girlfriends had an 80's party on Friday night. That was a lot of fun to dress for. We all really got a kick out of seeing each other dressed up. We decided that we are going to have to always have themed parties...they are just too much fun!
I gave Reese a bath in the big bathtub finally for the first time this weekend. She was in the middle of Hunter and Shelby....the best big brother and sister in the world. They helped her sit up the whole time and she loved it! She loved playing with her bath toys in the big bathtub. I took some pictures of that but I haven't downloaded them yet. I will soon.
I went running with Ariana and Reese this afternoon after the kids went back to their dad's. We had a nice run but could have done without losing the key, right Ariana???
I have a big week this week. I will be a chaperone on Wednesdays with the 1st graders. We are going to downtown Knoxville. They are studying communities right now. That will be fun. Then, on Friday I will help with Hunter's Fall class party. Then..of course, trick or treating on Friday evening after they have trick or treated at their dad's. They are going to be getting double the candy this year!! Lucky kids. I think I will steal some Reese's Cups. My favorite! Have a good week!

Cardinals Baseball

My little Shelby and Hunter had their last baseball game tonight. They were both on the same team this fall and I have really enjoyed watching them play. I have been the dugout mom and that has been a very interesting job to say the least! I had a blast, though. I am proud of my kids and all they did this season. Bobby was supposed to just be an assistant coach but somehow got suckered into being the head coach. He did a great job and all of the kids and parents really liked him. I love him for coaching my kids this fall. I know it took a lot of his personal time, but he did it anyway. He is a great coach. I hope he continues to do it! Enjoy some pictures of my Number Five and my Number One!!!

Mom's surgery

Bobby and I took little Reese to Birmingham this weekend to visit mom. She had knee replacement surgery a week ago today. She has been in a lot of pain and I hope that she finds some relief really soon. She is in better spirits today after having a visit from her PT at her home. I think she likes him a lot and he helped her a lot too. I was glad to help cook some meals for her and to let Reesey cheer her up a little. Reese loved giving her little baby boy cousin (still in Ash's belly) hugs and kissess...as you can see in one of these pictures. She can't wait to play with her cousin....hurry up and get here little boy!

I forgot Supergirl!!!!

Costumes

We had family portraits made today with my friend Christy. Visit her blog at bonifaciophotography. typepad.com
She is so talented and I can't wait to see how they turn out.
After pictures we went to a Halloween store to get costumes! Remind me NEVER to take Shelby in one of those stores ever again. She screamed in there and had a panic attack. I am not kidding either. She is So very afraid of Halloween stuff. Everyone in the store looked at us like we were crazy. I took her over to the baby costumes and that calmed her down a little bit. When we had to leave, the same screaming, crying attacks came again. Whew...it was rough.
But....we did manage to get costumes for the kids. Hunter is a Ninja..after I convinced him not to get the penguin costume! Shelby is Supergirl. It fits her personality perfectly. Brooke is a witch. She want to have a green face too on Halloween. The kids came home and put their costumes on to show their neighborhood friends. They looked so cute! Bobby is on evening shift this evening so we are hanging out and enjoying the cool weather. Enjoy the pictures!

Fall is Hear!

It feels so wonderful outside now that Fall is hear. Here are a few decorations on our front porch. We got this scary witch at Walgreens. She talks and pulls her head off of her body! Hunter LOVES this witch and Shelby is deathly afraid of her. For such a tough little girl, she is so scared of some things. The kids put the spider web on the bricks and placed plastic spiders all over it. Bobby put our pretty yellow mums out and we also have little pumpkins...one that represents each kid that lives hear. Don't you love how Reesey is sitting up so well on the front steps. She is 6 months old now and changing everyday!
